    Why become a presenter?
IT² is currently looking for any motivated individuals that have something to share with a group of like-minded individuals. Is there something that you do in your district/classroom that would be helpful for others to know? Now would be your time to show it off by becoming a presenter at this year's conference. There will be plenty of opportunities to share your knowledge during IT² as both a presenter and an attendee, so please, get involved today!
    What should I present?
We are looking for presenters with a broad knowledge base when it comes to both using technology in the classroom or technology usage in general for your district. Our attendees are School District Technology Leaders, Technology Support Staff, Technology Integration Staff and educators with a strong passion in immersing their curriculum with technology rich content.
    Presenter Options
Conference Sessions are 60 minutes each and are held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 and Friday, October 28, 2022 at the Willmar Event Center in Willmar, MN. We will also provide staff to assist with technical setups for your session and assist with any questions. We will schedule sessions into time slots in order to ensure that our attendee tracks are adequately served and that presenters are not double booked.
    Presenter Perks
Presenters for Conference Breakout Session proposals that are received by August 31, 2022 that are not vendor-affiliated will receive one $50 coupon for each session being presented that can be applied towards admission to the conference.  If there are multiple presenters for the same session, only one presenter will receive a $50 coupon.
    Presentation Styles
IT² will feature several types of presentations, like in the conferences of the past. When proposing your session we will ask that you please indicate the type of presentation you will be providing in order to actively convey expectations to our attendees. The choices for presentation styles are:
    • Listen and Learn: Lecture style presentations. Attendees will be allowed to ask questions during and following the presentation.
    • Active Discussion: Attendees will be expected to be actively engaged in a discussion either with the audience in its entirety or in small group discussions.  Session leader(s) will share knowledge and resources, but active engagement of the audience will be included.
    • Hands-On: Attendees will be expected to actively participate in “hands-on” activities that the presenter leads them through, these will most likely be interactive activities or apps. Please describe the virtual hands-on requirements for your session in the session description.  If attendees will be expected to bring specific devices, applications, or utilize an online resource, it should be detailed in your session description.
    Exhibitor and Sponsor Presenters
Exhibitors and vendors wishing to present or co-present at the conference must have purchased a presentation-qualifying package or conference sponsorship before their proposals will be considered. Visit and click on "Exhibitor Information" for details on becoming an exhibitor or sponsor. Exhibitors and Vendors that have purchased a presentation-qualifying package are encouraged, but not required, to have an educator with experience in implementing or utilizing their solution co-present in their session.
    Require a presenters fee?
If you require payment for your presentation, a consultant contract must be obtained and approved from our conference staff at or 507-537-2260 prior to submitting your proposal and no later than 9:00 AM on Friday, August 31, 2022.
