Supporting Regional Enrichment Opportunities
-
We believe students in southwest and west central Minnesota deserve innovative and learning-rich educational opportunities so they can be positioned to learn, grow and find success.
Funds raised support a variety of regional enrichment opportunities that are an extension of the classroom and give students the opportunity to further explore areas of interest in a hands-on fashion.
These events include:- Camp Aspire
- Career Expo
- Conference for Young Artists
- Conference for Young Writers
- Creative Writing Contest
- Culinary Skills Challenge
- First Tech Challenge
- Photography Competition
- Regional Knowledge Bowl competitions
- Regional Spelling Bee
- Science and Nature Conference
Donations of all sizes make an impact!- $5 will cover the Creative Writing Contest entry fee so a student can submit a fiction or non-fiction story they wrote; which could get published in the Creative Spaces book!
- $25 will cover the cost of rockets and engines for several students to build during the Rocket Blast Off session at the Science and Nature Conference.
- $120 will provide three student scholarships to the Conference for Young Artists where students learn new art techniques and expand their imagination through hands-on interactive sessions with professional artists.
- $600 will provide three student scholarships for Camp Aspire, a full-day, week-long summer camp focused on social emotional development.
