Special Education Boot Camp 2017 - Redwood Falls

Description

Presenters: Asst. Directors, Coordinators & Facilitators of Special Education From SWWC Service Cooperative

Special Education is an important, but complicated part of schools, bound by a number of legal obligations.  Teachers entering the field of Special Education are faced with tasks that are unlike any they have previously practiced.

This Special Ed. Boot Camp will offer a high intensity training to help provide entry level teachers with the basics necessary to do their jobs.  The two days will be filled with real-life scenarios and opportunitities to practice, interact and role play a number of scenarios they will face on a day-to-day basis.

Target Audience:  The training is specifically designed for teachers who are practicing on a variance or others with virtually no experience in Special Education.  Following completion of Special Ed Boot Camp, participants should continue as a member of our Newer Special Ed. Teacher Cohort for continued support during the remainder of the year.

Registration Fees:  SWWC SC Members: $0.00; Non-Members: $300.00

Registration Deadline:  August 1st

CEU Clock Hours for Both Days:  11 Hours
