Essentials for Living was designed for children and adults of all ages with moderate-to-severe disabilities and limited skill repertoires. The purpose of the program is to help teachers, SLP's, behavior analysts and others in selecting functional skills for instruction and problem behaviors for management, managing problem behaviors and teaching these functional skills.
The User Guide utilized with this training includes a communication, behavior and functional skills curriculum, assessment and a skill-tracking instrument. It is a professional practitioners handbook that you will find extremely helpful.
