Google Expeditions is a Virtual Reality (VR) app which consists of field trips that students can experience through a Virtual Reality viewer and device. Google Expeditions allows your students to travel to locations around the world and even into outer space to make learning relevant and purposeful.

SWWC has two VR kits that schools may checkout for free. During this workshop, you will learn about Google Expeditions, see the list of locations available, and have hands-on experience with the VR kits. You will also learn how to integrate this new technology into your classroom, and the process of reserving the VR kits.

Cancellations must be received by 4:30 p.m. on June 22, 2018 to qualify for a full refund, after which all registrations are final and no refunds will be issued. Substitution of attendees from the same district/organization will be allowed up to the day of the event. In the event a workshop is cancelled by SWWC, a full refund will be given. An email address that is accessed often must be included when registering to ensure receipt of any cancellation notifications.
