DAPE: Community of Practice Meeting - Redwood Falls (Postponed to April 12th)

Description

Region 6 & 8 DAPE Community of Practice Meeting will provide participants an opportunity to connect and collaborate with other professionals who service students who receive DAPE services. During this meeting, participants will share information and strategies, obtain state networking updates, and increase professional knowledge.

This is an informal and networking meeting to discuss:

  1. Current Best Practice Manual, Websites, Apps
  2. Goal writing (standards based) and assessments (standardized and checklists)
  3. New MN PE Standards (Feb 1, 2018)
  4. Equipment Modification ideas
  5. Due Process
  6. Question and Answer session

All attendees please bring something to share in small grade level groups (examples):

  • An equipment modification
  • Communication tools/equipment
  • Transition ideas
  • Example of a lesson
  • Checklists for assessment

Cost:

Member of Region 6 & 8: $20.00

Non-Member: $120.00

Cancellations must be received by 4:30 p.m. on March 26th to qualify for a full refund, after which all registrations are final and no refunds will be issued.  Substitution of attendees from the same district/organization will be allowed up to the day of the event.  In the event a workshop is cancelled by the Service Cooperative, a full refund will be given.  An email address that is accessed often must be included when registering to ensure receipt of any cancellation notifications.
