The School Pool Advisory Committee approved changes to the 2016 Wellness Institute Incentive program.  This program is where individual employees on the health plan were awarded an incentive (contribution to a VEBA, HSA or premium reduction) for participation on a biometric screening, online health risk assessment, and completion of online learning modules. 

There are several changes to the 2016 program.  A meeting has been scheduled on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 10:00am-12:00pm at the SWWC Marshall Office. 

We will cover all of the changes, employer responsibilities to implement this program, and timeline.  If your district plans on participating in the program, it is imperative that you have someone attend this meeting. 

The new program will offer an incentive for registering for ClearCost Health, completing an online health risk assessment (which will be through a new vendor - WELCOA), knowing what your numbers are, and participation in a fitbit challenge.  The incentive will be a $100 contribution to a VEBA/HSA/premium reduction and a fitbit device.
