Fiscal Monitoring Training
Description
Program components include training and technical assistance on federal and state special education fiscal requirements for time and effort reporting, procurement, equipment, proportionate share, third party billing and transportation. Discussion will address more complicated scenarios and examples for fiscal topics. The trainers will also discuss internal controls. Participants in the training are required to submit fiscal data to MDE, to which will be reviewed for compliance with applicable reporting requirements.
Free to both member and non-member districts.
