Course Objectives: Enhance and expand your ability to confidently and competently apply intervention strategies to your interactions with individuals with autism spectrum disorders. Explore appropriate adaptations and interventions to specifically address the needs and learning styles of people with ASD. Problem solve a variety of scenarios that staff may encounter during a crisis intervention when supporting individuals with ASD.

Target Audience: Crisis Team Members, Special Education Teachers, Early Childhood Teachers, Paraprofessionals and others who work with students with ASD and challenging behaviors.

* Participants must have attended a full CPI training to register for this course.
