Learn how to use student data in school district improvement planning with a focus on improving school climate during the workshop "Making Meaning of Multiple Measures (M3): Using Minnesota Student Survey Data to inform Improvement Planning." One-day workshops are being offered throughout the state by the School Safety Technical Assistance Center and the Minnesota Service Cooperatives.  The workshops are targeted to district leadership teams who are responsible for strategic planning, research and innovation or using data in school improvement planning.

The workshops will explore the link between chronic absenteeism and school climate as it relates to academic achievement.  To participate, school districts are required to send a team of at least four staff members.  Teams will use their school district's Minnesota Student Survey data to better understand issues that may be impacting student achievement.  Teams will leave the workshops with concrete tools for implementing their own improvement process that incorporates school climate data into academic goal setting.

The workshops are open only to school districts that participated in the 2016 Minnesota Student Survey.  These workshops have been approved by the Minnesota Board of School Administrators for 6.0 hours of Continuing Education Units.

Cost: Free to districts that participated in the 2016 MN Student Survey.
