SW/WC SERVICE COOPERATIVE MEMBERS

SW/WC Service Cooperative serves schools, communities and other agencies in economic development regions 6E, 6W, and 8. The member organizations "own" this cooperative and govern it with elected officials from public schools and government units. Here are the ways in which an organization can hold membership in SW/WC Service Cooperative.
Full Memberships. Membership in SW/WC Service Cooperative is open to all public school districts, cities, counties, and other governmental units (CCOGA) as defined in Minnesota Statute 471.59 who elect to pay the membership service fee as determined by the Board of Directors. Participation and voting privileges in the governance of the SW/WC SC shall be limited to full members.
Associate memberships for non-public schools and other organizations. Associate membership is open to non-public schools and other partnership agencies or organizations within the SW/WC SC regions. They cannot vote, nor can they hold elective offices in the SW/WC SC.
Associate membership for public schools, cities, counties, non-profit organizations and other governmental units. Associate membership is open to public school districts, cities, counties, non-profit organizations and other governmental units in other economic development regions. They cannot vote, nor can they hold elective offices in the SW/WC SC.
