The SW/WC Service Cooperative Information Technology Department provides a variety of professional services to meet our members' needs. From our comprehensive Technology Direction/Coordination Services to our supplemental Tech Support, we can provide the services to your school or organization on an as-needed or full-time basis.
The IT Deparment also administers the SW/WC Service Cooperative Wide Area Network, a collaborative effort among 32 school districts in southwest Minnesota to offer high-speed shared network and Internet access to be used for shared data services and distance education. Distance Education coordination and scheduling as well as teacher training for the use of online and ITV resources is also the responsibility of the IT Department. Our other specialties include Technology Integration, providing the guidance, professional development and support to educators to make the best possible use of technology in the classroom as well as E-Rate and TSIS Student Information System support.
We also offer the Cognos Data Warehouse system complimented by our iCue Test and Assessment Suite. If you are looking for a state of the art Data Driven Decision making tool for your districts RtI or planning teams Cognos is the tool of choice. The cooperative's IT staff will help you with data loading and preperation as well as trainig on the use of the tool. Through our partnerships we can also offer a line of professional development opportunities that focus on the use of data for decision making.
